September 2025 Our client, Zeus Sleep Ltd, a company established from a collaboration between British innovation company Morgan Innovation & Technology Ltd (MIAT), also a long-term client of Schlich, and partners at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London (including renowned sleep expert Professor Joerg Steier) has developed an anti-snoring device, Zeus®, a sleekly designed non-invasive device that sits comfortably underneath the chin and gently stimulates muscles in the tongue, keeping the airway open and preventing snoring. With its slick design and distinctive name, Zeus® is fast becoming a key player in the sleep field and is featured this week in The Times.
As recognised by The Times’ Bridget Harrison in this week’s feature ‘Can this gadget cure my noisy snoring? My husband hopes so’, snoring can be a nuisance not just for the snorer themselves but for partners alike who often struggle to achieve effective deep sleep.
Although anti-snoring methods and devices are known, many are invasive, require sophisticated monitoring or have signal parameters that result in muscle fatigue. Accordingly, there was a need for an improved anti-snoring device that is portable, easy to use, non-invasive and suitable for wearing for long periods so that effective and relaxing sleep can be enjoyed.
Schlich client, Morgan Innovation & Technology Ltd (MIAT), worked in collaboration with partners at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London, including renowned sleep expert Professor Joerg Steier, to develop Zeus®, a sleekly designed non-invasive anti-snoring device that sits comfortably underneath the chin and gently stimulates muscles in the tongue, keeping the airway open and preventing snoring. The device is easy to use and can be worn all night long without the user experiencing muscle fatigue.
Zeus®, which is protected by patents, trade marks and designs, is now marketed by Zeus Sleep Ltd, a UK company, and Schlich client alike, established from the aforementioned collaboration.
