We are delighted to announce that Ben Snipe has joined Schlich.

Ben is joining us with more than 20 years of experience in the intellectual property field and his specialisms in physics, software and mechanical technologies. In particular, Ben’s experience has included handling patent cases relating to car and bicycle components, communications technologies, digital electronics, software, manufacturing processes and medical devices. Ben also advises on infringement and validity issues and represents clients in patent matters before the UK and European Patent Offices.

Ben has extensive experience advising on and protecting design rights for the appearance of products.

In 2002, Ben graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, quickly moving into gaining experience in intellectual property law and training as a patent attorney and subsequently founding his own firm SC Patents.

Ben is now joining Schlich as a consultant and will be working with our team to provide his expertise in mechanical, software and physics based technologies.

We look forward to working with Ben and welcome him warmly into our team at Schlich!
