‘Insight epi’, the epi’s first podcast series, was launched earlier last month to discuss topics of interest in the patent profession. The series premiered with Schlich’s own Simon Wright joining the discussion on the patenting and development of new plants and ‘new genetic techniques’.

The episode, entitled “NGT plants: A controversial European proposal”, features Simon Wright, appearing as the chair of the epi Biotechnology Committee, alongside Brigitte Carion-Taravella, the secretary of the Biotechnology Committee, to comment on the legislation proposed by the European parliament on patenting genetic modification.

The podcast series can be found on the epi-learning.org website, as well as on Apple Podcasts and Spotify
