January 2024 “New Year, New Me”
After the New Year’s confetti has been swept away, the biscuit selection boxes are demolished and everyone has settled back into the nine to five, it’s likely that some of our New Years resolutions may have already taken a backseat.
But, let it be known that Schlich is a company full of dedicated, persistent and mildly competitive employees!
2023 was a year for renovation in our offices; in July we opened our second Littlehampton office and at the end of the year a treadmill desk for each office was installed. A real treat for some of the gadget magpies in our team!
Now in 2024 – whilst we are learning to simultaneously walk and draft patent specs without needing a trip to A&E, we thought we could up the stakes a little and challenge ourselves: could we collectively walk the equivalent distance from our Littlehampton offices to the European Patent Office in Munich?
At approximately 924 Kilometres as the crow flies, this is no mean feat. Catch up with our progress later in the year, as we make our way (theoretically) through Europe to the EPO!
